If you’re a woman and you’re into degrading yourself, groovy, like Uncle Al used to say “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law …”, the trouble is, that this sort of iconic symbolism conveys a message, particularly to White Heterosexual men voting for Mittney - viz., that aggressive and controlling male behavior, over women, is cool and classy. It’s the sort of thing Wall Street men in expensive suits like to pay for when female submission and willingness is symbolically confirmed creating a further sense that this form of submission is the right and proper conduct or role for women to assume commensurate with men such that further persuasive means may be in order, for those that resist, thereby serving to degrade other women that don’t want to be degraded.
