Well there used to be this store here called “Philadelphia Sales” that had some exceptional bargin bin deals like at the Old Alexander’s and you could get really far out tops 3 for $1.00 - anyone remember those days way back then there, like in the Nixon 70s? And then of course they had the shirts for ‘the obedient shit head look’ for wacko Conservatives - e.g., white, untappered with a little snap tab collar and barely visible blue or OMG hot radical maroon stripe. They were like 3 for 5 dollars. WTF would ever wear such things? Apparently no one because when the RayGun democrats abolished various regulations regarding price fixing as Howard Metzenbaum warned, discount places like Philadelphia Sales went out of business, after all they only paid minimum wage and being that the Democratics adore wage and price spirals and these yuppie kids with the painted on hair in Itaca NY bought all of the shirts and were now selling them for $85.00 a pop.

I think I laughed out loud. “No, Tommy, it’s not an edict, but stores need to make some profit when the sell a product to their customer. It’s pretty standard that a person opens a store, they take some risk in doing that and they want to make something back from their work so that they can feed their families. Many of the stores that we sell to are actually owned by the people who work there as their career.
